Professional dental hygiene
DURATION
45-50 min
It’s calm, gentle, and done with care; many of our patients say it’s the first time they’ve actually felt relaxed during a cleaning.
Here is what to expect
Ultrasound
We start by removing hard tartar. You might feel a light vibration; it’s completely normal. This step clears what regular brushing can’t reach.
Flossing
Next, we clean between the teeth. It’s a quiet, precise step that helps keep your gums healthy.
Airflow
A soft stream of air, water, and fine powder removes stains from coffee, tea, and wine, and clears the thin bacterial layer that causes cavities and gum irritation. Most people notice their teeth look a little brighter right away.
Polishing
We finish by smoothing the enamel with a gentle brush and paste. It gives that fresh, smooth feeling when you run your tongue over your teeth and helps plaque build up slower.
Fluoride treatment
At the end, we apply fluoride to strengthen enamel and reduce sensitivity. This step may be skipped if unnecessary or if the patient doesn't want it.
After your visit
You’ll feel the difference right away: teeth become smooth, gums calm, and your smile looks 1–2 shades lighter.
If you wear braces, regular hygiene visits help keep brackets and gums clean, remove plaque you can’t reach at home, and reduce the risk of cavities and inflammation.
If you have veneers, crowns, or implants, professional cleaning helps them stay in great condition and last for many years.
You leave with that light, clean feeling and the quiet satisfaction of knowing everything is healthy and well cared of.
